Tuesday Morning Envy Group Ride

The Tuesday Envy ride is for those lucky cyclists who are able to ride during regular weekday working hours. They are the ENVY of many cyclists!

Ride leaves at 9:45AM from Bethel Cycle Works
All ride levels are welcome and an appropriate pace will be set based on riders abilities. We aim for a moderate 12-14 mph Group for about 20-25 miles and spirited 15-18 mph Group for 30-35 miles. Our route will vary from week to week, but you can always count on it being awesome!

WHAT YOU NEED
Rides require an appropriate bike in good working order, LIGHTS, water, and a helmet. We also suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile!  Many rides are held subject to weather although we do ride in all kinds of weather.

Ride starts and ends at Bethel Cycle Works, Meet at 5:30pm/Wheels down 5:45pm sharp!

Post Ride at J. Lawrence Downtown. Special food and drink prices for Bethel Cycle Works riders.

Please come prepared with the route. We will split groups according to size and abilities.

C Group: 20-25 miles at 14-16 mph
B Group: 25-35 miles at 17-19 mph
A Group: 35-45 miles at 20+ mph

Be Prepared (Bike Safe, Tires pumped, Repair Kit Set, LIGHTS WORKING, Route loaded into Garmin)
Ride Steady...smooth, predictable, relaxed, hold your line.

This ride offers scenic views of the reservoir and rolling hills that litter Fairfield County as we make our way to the shore. This is a great ride to test your fitness and learn how to ride safely in a controlled paced group. This is a no-drop ride to the shore. Once we turn back inland, the pace becomes more spirited. Although this is a no-drop ride come ready to push yourself!

These rides are very popular with the local cycling community and the regulars range in ability from racers to enthusiasts out for a fun ride.

Join Dave and friends on one of these fun rides and ‘D’ Clutter your brain from the work week. Our Saturday morning ride is group friendly…even if your ride leaders name in the peleton is ‘Angry Dave":) This is a C Group pace ride. 15-17 mph average. 25-30 miles. This is a NO DROP RIDE! If you have never ridden with a group or need special attention, Dave will be more than willing to accommodate. It is intimidating to ride in large groups when you first start off, so if you need assistance or a refresher he will be sure to help. His goal is to make your ride as enjoyable as possible.
